Biography:

Vincent holds the Chair of Computer Science (1990) in the School of Computer Science and Statistics, Trinity College, the Dublin of University. He holds the personal chair of Artificial Intelligence in the School of Computer Science & Statistics, TCD. He holds BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science and was awarded Fellowship of Trinity College for his contribution to research in knowledge management, web-based personalisation and adaptive technologies.

He is CEO and co-founder of the Centre for Intelligent Content (CNGL) which is a world-leading multi-institutional research centre focusing on multilingual, multi-modal globalisation of digital content. From Jan 2015 Vincent will be CEO and Director of the ADAPT Research Centre for Digital Content Platforms and Application Research.

In 2010 he founded the Learnovate Centre (Centre for Applied Research in Learning Technology) which is an industry-academic led centre focusing on technology-enhanced learning across learning in K12, corporate learning and adult education.
